Design

Design is the creative, iterative and often open-ended process of conceiving and developing components, systems and processes.

Design requires the integration of engineering, basic and mathematical sciences. A designer works under constraints, taking into account economic, health and safety, social and environmental factors, codes of practice and applicable laws.

CTS will provide as much or as little design as is required. Some Clients have already engaged Design Consultants for a variety of scopes and CTS’s responsibility is to convert these into working systems achieving the desired performances. Alternatively CTS will take the most basic of Client Briefs and turn it into a real project, equaling and often surpassing the client's requirements whilst maintaining other constraints such as budget and program.

On some project CTS undertake the complete Design & Build from A to Z. Alternatively the Client can determine what stage(s) he requires CTS to be involved in and to what extent. It is totally at the client's discretion.
